Your mission

The role
As an FEA Simulation Engineer, you enter as a key member of the early team and own the structural integrity behind our physical AI. You will work directly with the founders and senior leadership to define how we validate and optimize the structures of our robots. Through static and dynamic FEA, you make sure our structures withstand the harshest real-world conditions while pushing them toward best-in-class lightweight KPIs. Your sign-off is the final gate between a design and its release to hardware.

Your profile

Key responsibilities
  • Structural Integrity Ownership: Lead static and dynamic FEA on load-bearing structures and deliver sign-offs based on validated models and clearly defended assumptions - not blanket over-design.
  • Lightweight Optimization: Drive topology and parametric optimization to reach minimum structural mass within defined safety margins, validated by physical testing rather than simulation confidence alone.
  • Dynamic & Fatigue Analysis: Model impact, vibration and cyclic loading scenarios to predict failure modes before they appear in physical testing.
  • Design Collaboration: Partner with CAD engineers from the earliest concept stage, turning simulation insight directly into load-path-aligned design decisions rather than after-the-fact checks.
Who we are looking for
We seek builders ready to move beyond demos to real-world deployment - professionals who value precision and reliability as much as innovation.
  • Experience: 5+ years of dedicated FEA/structural simulation in high-performance robotics, aerospace or automotive, with a track record of sign-offs on structures that shipped and survived real-world dynamic loading
  • Core Skills: Expert-level FEA, backed by a strong grasp of materials, optimization and system dynamics. In detail
  • FEA: Expert command of Simulia Abaqus (or comparable) for static, dynamic, modal and fatigue simulations - able to defend every modeling assumption behind a sign-off under scrutiny
  • Adjacent Disciplines: Solid working knowledge of materials science (metals and composites), topology optimization and multi-body dynamics to put FEA results in the context of the full system.
  • CAD: Comfortable in CAD (ideally CATIA and Fusion 360) to turn simulation findings directly into design iterations, not just a report handed back to someone else.
  • Lightweight Design: A proven history of reducing structural mass within defined safety margins - and of correlating your predictions with physical test data.
  • Mindset: You balance the agility of a startup with the professional rigor required for a global industrial player. You bridge the mechanical, electrical and software teams, and you iterate until predicted and measured failure modes match.

Why us?

  • The Team: Work alongside leadership with a proven track record of building unicorn-scale companies and defining global robotics standards.

  • Smart Strategy: We operate as disciplined fast followers. Capital is timed to the deployment inflection point, avoiding early-mover dead ends to scale fast on proven foundations.

  • Resources: We are substantially internally funded and attract top-tier investors to avoid any capital constraints for our mission.

  • Historic Opportunity: Join at the dawn of a new industry comparable to the rise of the automobile. Help shape the European champion in this trillion-dollar market.
